Charlie is an Afro-Caribbean trans gender non-conforming person (TGNC). Currently, they are sharing their Vacation. Charlie brand around the world, using a workshop that they created called “Sex As Healing.” It is a guided meditation and psychic reading by way of palm touching.
Charlie joined the documentary because they want to educate people about body and gender liberation. They want to educate people on the TGNC experience. “I hope to gain more community, as well as a deeper and higher awareness of myself and other folks who have the same identity as me. Many people don’t realize I could be fired for the way that I look and the way that I wear my hair. This is how I was born and now choose to present and even with many civil rights, being outside of the norm is still very dangerous for me.”
