WHY WE DO IT

Mission

What makes our company groundbreaking is that we execute productions for the global majority (aka Black, Indigenous, People of Color), striving for these people to be behind the lens, in the decision-making rooms, and involved in all aspects of production.  This intentional accessibility, the refocusing of art and the media’s gaze, is the crux of the People of Color Productions' mission: to catalyze healing for the global majority.

People of Color [PoC] Productions was founded by Tina Colleen [She/Her/Hers], a Black-Indigenous, queer, body liberator, and social disruptor. People of Color Productions is a global production company that alchemizes art to transform the societal narrative. Furthermore, People of Color Productions provide artists with the production support they need to focus on creating and scaling their art.

People of Color Productions centers artistic collaborations that are marginalized.  Our work utilizes various art mediums to produce stirring visual expressions that bridge the gap between entertainment/media and activism while promoting the unlearning of harmful socialized ideals that impact the global majority. Our productions guide audiences to a path of healing and liberation.

INVEST IN QUEER & TRANS BIPOC* LIVES.

Consumers are spending money with companies that are more inclusive. We are seeing an increase in companies' profits and popularity who financially support movements such as Black Lives Matter, the transgender community, and women/femmes to name a few.
